Benjamin Netanyahu is the brother of Yonatan Netanyahu, the eldest son of Benzion Netanyahu. Yonatan was born in New York City on March 13, 1946, and was killed in action on July 4, 1976, during the Entebbe raid. Benjamin Netanyahu was elected Prime Minister of Israel in 1996, in 2009 and reelected in 2013, 2015, 2020 and 2022. All three brothers—Yonatan, Benjamin, and Iddo—served in Sayeret Matkal.
